On Tuesday Blue Origin completed a great milestone in the modern space race. They succeeded in vertically landing their launch vehicle - New Shepard - after it propelled a capsule into space to an altitude of 100.5 km. This is a great advancement for modern space tourism because the ability to land and reuse booster stages (or launch vehicles) will significantly reduce the cost of reaching space.
